Safeguarding policy

Safety, dignity and clear limits.

This public summary explains the principles guiding Pixo SOS™. Operational procedures remain subject to qualified safeguarding and legal review before launch.

Our principles

We use non-blaming, age-appropriate language and prioritise a person's immediate safety, privacy and choices.

What Pixo does

Pixo can guide users through questions, help prepare a report or request, encourage contact with a trusted person and signpost specialist services.

What Pixo does not do

Pixo is not an emergency service, police service, law firm or safeguarding authority. It cannot guarantee content removal or decide whether a platform accepts a request.

Information handling

We will minimise collected information, use encryption in transit and at rest, restrict staff access and keep access records where the service requires them. Confirmed retention and deletion periods will be published before launch.

Before launch

Child-facing wording, reporting and escalation procedures, age-appropriate privacy and consent assessments, parental-notification rules, and procedures for imminent danger, coercion and exploitation require qualified review.

Never upload, download, forward or redistribute intimate imagery involving anyone under 18.
